What we collect

What you send us. If you use one of our contact or property-management inquiry forms, we receive what you type: your name and email address; your phone number, company or building if you add them; the building and city and what you’d like us to look at, for the building review form; the kind of inquiry you chose, for the “Work with us” forms; your message; and the page the form was on. The short email-only offer on the property-management page also records how long the page had been open when you sent it. Submissions are transmitted to our inbox through FormSubmit, a third-party form-delivery service, which may process and store them in order to deliver them. How the site is used, if you accept cookies. When you choose “Accept all” in the cookie notice, we load HubSpot, the customer-relationship system we run the business on. It sets cookies and records which pages you visit, how long you stay, roughly where you are (from your IP address), and the device and browser you use. If you later send us an inquiry, HubSpot can connect those visits to your contact record so we know what you looked at before you got in touch. Advertising measurement, if you accept cookies. Through HubSpot, Google Ads measurement tags may also load so we can tell whether an ad brought you here. Server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, requested page, browser type) to run and protect the service. Cloudflare’s notice is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy (opens in a new tab).

Weather in the footer. The footer shows the current weather in Wausau and Madison. That request goes to Open-Meteo with the coordinates of those two cities, not yours.

What we don’t do. We don’t sell personal information, we don’t run ads on this site, and we don’t use the forms to add you to a newsletter without asking.

How we use it

To answer your inquiry, whether that’s a building review, a property for sale, a partnership or pop-up idea, a job, feedback, or anything else you sent. To understand which pages help people and which don’t, so we can improve the site. To measure whether our advertising works. To keep the site secure and running.

Cookies and your choices

The site itself sets no cookies. Your cookie choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage (a single value, “all” or “essential”), along with a count of how many times this browser has opened the property-management page, which only decides whether the review offer appears on a return visit. A few values that clear when you close the tab remember that you’ve seen the intro animation, that you arrived from another page of this site, whether the property-management offer has already appeared, and the footer’s last weather reading. None of this identifies you. HubSpot and Google cookies are set only after you choose “Accept all”.

You can change your mind at any time: open Cookie preferences in the footer and pick “Essential only”. Clearing your browser’s site data removes everything above. Browser settings can also block cookies entirely; the site works the same either way.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers named above (HubSpot, Google, Cloudflare and FormSubmit), each for the purpose described, plus our own team at bantr and Lokre who handle inquiries and marketing. We will share information if the law requires it. We don’t share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Inquiry details stay in our inbox and in HubSpot, the customer-relationship system we run the business on, for as long as we’re in conversation with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can pick the thread back up. Analytics data is kept according to HubSpot’s retention settings. Ask us and we’ll delete your record.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@bantrliving.com with “Privacy request” in the subject and we’ll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or national privacy law; we honor them the same way.

Children

This site is for adults looking for a place to live, stay, eat, train or do business. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Links to other sites

Pages link out to our buildings’ own websites, booking and reservation systems, apartments.com, Indeed, Calendly and social networks. Each of those has its own privacy practices, which we don’t control.

Changes

If we change how this site collects information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged in the cookie notice.
